SMS Terms
Effective October 13, 2026. DirectOS is operated by Creed Media LLC.
Who texts you
Businesses that use DirectOS send texts from their business phone number about service you’ve arranged with them: visit reminders and “on our way” notices, estimates, invoices and payment links, replies to messages you send them, and, if you call a business and they miss it, a single text letting you know they’ll help by text. DirectOS itself does not send you marketing texts.
Consent
A business texts you only if you agreed: by checking the optional texting box on its request form, by saying yes when it asked while booking service (followed by a confirmation text), or by texting its business number first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Each business’s own SMS Terms and SMS Privacy Policy are linked from its request form and confirmation text.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your service (typically a few messages per visit, estimate or invoice). Message and data rates may apply.
Stop and help
Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to stop texts from that business’s number; you’ll get one confirmation and no more texts from that business until you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@directos.app.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
